Our recent actions.

Greetings Lothos!

Recently, we attacked your walls and took out much of your army. We
struck out against you crying that we would liberate you. You may be
confused by this action. Surely we ment "Dominate" or "Destroy", yes?
Allow me to explain.

A Triton made his way to Arcadia before the attack. He had a black eye
and many, many bruises on him. He pleaded to us, claimed that the
Lothian royalty were a bunch of oppressive overlords. He pleaded that we
intervene on behalf of the people of Lothos, to liberate this city from
their torment! To free the common man of Lothos to a better life! We
were moved by his words. He was a charismatic man. This is the kind of
thing we fight, you see. Leaders opressing their subjects is a horrible
thing, and we were moved to "Liberate" your city. How wrong we were to
not look further!

We were tricked! Fooled! The Triton who pleaded with us? One of the
Scyrean Leigon. We were tricked into combat. While we fought your
troops, Scyros came up from behind and attacked us! Rather swiftly, I
would say. We decimated half their force and were only forced to retreat
when the Nerai came to back them up. They were lucky the Nerai showed up
when they did. I am sure we could have completely wiped out all of their
force. They are no match for the Stormshapers, especially not with a
four to one ratio, at rough estimate!

So I would like to apologize to you on behalf of the Silver Wing and
Arcadia. We were fooled into needless bloodshed. I am sorry that we slew
your men with no reason. But this does raise some intresting questions.
What were so many Scyrean troops doing so close to Lothos? Surely you do
not allow such a large military presence from another city be so close
to your own? I am told that the Triton who tricked us is within your
prisons. I am told he seethes and calls Lothos his hated enemy. From
what I can tell, this was a trap layed for us to make us loose face. I
know the people of Lothos will not forgive us easily. However, a post
seems a rather horrible manner to convey any more words
to you.

Thus, I humbly request a meeting with your leadership. Surely we can
speak more in person and clear up any misconceptions. I think we have
much to discuss.
