Let it be known that I am no longer a citizen of Shallam. The government
of Shallam has perpetrated an initiation of government force and has in
the process sacrificed the principles of good. I believe my reasoning to
be utterly correct in the matter of freedom being essential to Goodness,
for what good is possible at the tip of a sword? I do not believe that
the Gods created me and gave me my faculty of Reason in order for me to
ignore it.

I do not walk from the path of light, the light has gone. I do not tread
from the path of good, the path disappeared. I do not leave the jewel,
Shallam has abandoned me.
