Tome of the Anointed

Dearest Azor,

I also extend my congratulations to you and the Anointed. Never in my
wicked, criminal mind would I have imagined that such an illustrious
chaos-banishing, evil-smiting group would turn into a charity. Your
social works and building projects in Green Lake will have great impacts
in our communities. I'm sure after the Anointed are through, the
real-estate options and land value of such an area will be greatly
benefited!

Also of note, perhaps it has not occured to you that your "Tome of the
Anointed" has gone missing. Don't feel bad. It took me awhile to wipe
the inches of dust off the torn and badly frayed pages of the tome
before I realized what it was, realizing it has probably been a while
since it was read. I was certainly honored to read it. Knowing that my
hands hold the founding story of your group, handled by the infamous
Archbishop Rho himself, is a thoughtthat makes me warm inside.

Be not dishearted, though. Despite the Anointed's failures to destroy
the Bastion of Evil, Mhaldor, and it's routing by the Revolutionaries
and their Chaotic allies, you still have plenty of accomplishments to
look to. One being, for instance, helping humble thieves such as myself
to add new additions to their libraries. Feel free to send donations.
For such charitable work in allowing me to have this new paper-weight, I
have a vial of mass with my autograph on it. I wish to give it to you in
place of your Tome.

Thank you,

Corbeaux Mal'kaer, Thief

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Daedalan, in the year 505 AF.
