Greetings Tyrannus.
Tis interesting that you claim increased hostilities with the city-state
of Cyrene. The only increased hostilities are those instigated by your
own citizens, in slaying the citizens and guards of the city of Cyrene.
Before Your Vicars ordered citizens to march into battle, there were no
hostilities on a City level. It was the same business as before, some
citizens of yours harmed our city, but we did not hold that against the
city as a whole.
Even in light of the recent change of mhaldorian thoughts, stances, and
ability to act as a responsible government, the City of Cyrene remained
neutral. We did not order raids upon your city, your citizens were not
targetted for death simply for being a citizen of Mhaldor, and your
people were not banned, nor tarifs imposed. We did not even ban travel
to the city of Mhaldor for the few citizens who still felt associated
with mass murderers was something decent folk could handle.
And then suddenly, our people are considered criminals inside your
walls, when it is your own citizens who proclaim to be 'only shopping'
mere seconds before the portal opens and our walls are again invaded.
Was it not mere months ago that you and I discussed the fact that you
and the government of Mhaldor were -not- changing the neutral stance and
that the attacks on our soil were only the misplaced actions of a few
minor citizens? Atleast, those were your words then.
However, all of your increasing inability to stay on one point aside, it
is a pleasure to finally get the truth out of the City of Mhaldor. To
finally have your words out here in public for all to know that one man
can affect the entire city of Mhaldor so much. That the neutral City of
Cyrene can have such an impact on the supposedly powerful rulers of the
continent that they cower before the might of our solitary merchants.
I appreciate hearing from you, Tyrannus. I sincerely hope we can have
more pleasant conversations about the morning weather, since you are not
enemied to Cyrene and we can have a nice cup of tea while watching the
breathstream from your Dragons land about the streets.
Good Day
