Okay everyone, I just got done speaking with Laergon. Some of you may be angered by the peace talks where some of you might deam it as a perfect idea. The treaty will last for 10 years and it will end all hostilities. If this treaty is accepted by us, Laergon and I will see to it that no one breaks these rules, and if they do they will be punished.
The Kharon will personally aide, train and help any sentaari in need. He hasn't said that we must do the same but we should be as kind or rude to them as they are to us. Forget the treat others as you want to be treated, if they treat us kindly we should do the same back, and vice versa.
Now, here comes the part of the treaty that I'm not sure if we can agree upon. The Kharon want us to pay them 10k a year to uphold their end. Basically, its classical bribery, but if we think about what all the treaty means, we might be able to get passed the money. I know for a fact that we can easily get together 10k a year. I have over that much myself, its just a matter of if we are willing too.
I haven't figured out if I want this or not. In fact I haven't even thought about it yet. I think that the peace treaty is a good idea but many of you may disagree with the payment each year.
Laergon has agreed to let us talk this out, so you need to tell me what you think so that I may talk to him about this. I dont want to decide any of this on my own. I want us to all have a say in our fate.
Let me just remind all of you, who may be weak or just dont like to fight, if we dont accept this or get him to change it and then accept it, blood will be shed. I am pretty sure that they will not be peaceful without a price.
