Avast you long clothes! Me hearties and I have been misunderstood by a
vast majority of landlubbers. I've come to put the black spot to this
hornswaggle.
First and foremost though all Pirates of Meropis have full equal say and
vote on all matters, I have the last say when it comes to our
allegiances. Some bilge rat seemed to think they could pledge our
ballista on behalf of the sky lord. This is NOT so. We have made so such
pledge to any sides concerning that conflict.
Secondly, we have made no such decelerations of war upon Ashtan, its
citizens, its ships, or any other organizations as of yet. Ashtans
admiral of navel rowboats declared its personal war on us. Not the other
way around.
Thirdly, we do not fly a red flag. To you lubbers the red banner is a
sign of no quarter. Our colors remain black. We have always offered
peaceful terms to any sails on the waves until they brandish hostilities
or they sit there in some from of hypnotized daydreaming while usually
fishing, and refuse to engage in communication.
Lastly, indeed the rumors are true, they are too many to attempt a
feigned act of dismissal. So I will say this. Our hidden private icy
port in the north is just that. Private. Any ship NOT flying under the
pirate flag or in possession of notarized papers of passage, that braves
the glacier ridden waters to find our hidden hole will be met with
fierce hostilities. The pirates and bandits that keep watch over our
port are not ones to be trifled with if you value your ship being above
the waves.
