Within the Temple of Agatheis, the Elemental Lord, exists eight pillars.
Four contain the Laws of Chaos, and four contain the Principles of
Order. For anyone who is unclear about how Chaos works to destroy
Creation, this spells it out fairly clearly.

THE FOUR LAWS OF CHAOS: Law Number One

Chaos and Creation were created in separate realms and were not meant to
interact with one another

Chaos is a destructive force to the fabric of Creation. So long as Chaos
persists within the realm of Creation, the eventual destruction of
Creation is inevitable. Creation and Chaos must coexist with no
interaction, else Chaos will overtake Creation.

Chaos may only enter Creation through an unnatural linkage between the
two realms

Chaos may only enter when the fabric of Creation is severely weakened.
Occultic actions and Chaos beings utilize Chaos that already exists
within Creation and not that within the Chaos Realm. The fabric of
creation is eroded by the existence of Chaos within it and high levels
of entropy and discord.

There is no room for morality within the battle against Chaos

Good and Evil functioning in line with their ideals represent supreme
Order and are therefore threatened by the existence of Chaos within the
realm of Creation. Organisations, societies, and individuals who
prioritise Order reduce entropy and discord, reducing damage to the
fabric of Creation. So long as Chaos exists, Creation faces certain end
at the sake of humanity. Chaos threatens children of Good as much as it
threatens those of Evil.

Creation was designed to foster Order and productivity

This Order was meant to rule Creation at every level including nature,
the Garden, and manmade societies. Through true Order, each of these
entities becomes most productive and the greatest possible benefit is
achieved.

Order and Creation are threatened by Chaos

The destructive impact of Chaos on Creation is exponential over time.
The existence of Chaos within Creation reduces Order, breeding entropy
and discord throughout society, while Occultic acts increase entropy and
discord within the fabric of Creation itself. These two contributing
factors weaken the fabric of Creation, increasing the likelihood of more
Chaos seeping into Creation from the Chaos Realm. It is the
responsibility of the most talented to impose Order as they lead. The
reduction of entropy and discord will stagnate existing Chaos to slowing
Its flow into Creation.

The complete destruction of Creation is inevitable if Chaos is not
removed entirely from its realm

The existence of Chaos damages the fabric of Creation, allowing more of
It to enter. A higher concentration of Chaos causes greater damage to
the fabric of Creation, increasing the flow of Chaos. Creation must be
cleansed of Chaos, else Chaos completely envelop Creation.

Order is not a property of any moral persuasion

Order is found throughout society and nature in varying degrees of
perfection. Societies of both Good and Evil functioning within their
ideals strive towards minimizing entropy and discord, the most basic
form of Order. Any entity is most successful when Order is instilled to
promote productivity and achievement, regardless of their ultimate
manifestation.
