Hail, people of the world.
Part of the remit of the Order of Phaestus is to raise standards for
craftsmanship across the Realms. One way we seek to achieve this is by
encouraging crafters of all kinds to continuously strive to improve
and refine their skills.
For some time the Order has been developing a new series of awards to
recognize the most dedicated and accomplished of craftsmen. The
accolade will have two tiers: Master Craftsman, and Grand Master
Craftsman.
To achieve the former indicates worldwide renoun and stunning
expertise; to achieve the latter indicates a crafter of near-legendary
fame whose work has made a significant and lasting impact on their
field.
It gives me very great pleasure to announce the first recipients of
these accolades.
Grand Master Tailor and Grand Master Jeweller:
Katia Lokelinde Le'Murzen
Grand Master Smith:
Sir Trey Adwimar
Master Jeweller:
Dr Tekla Rousseau
My warmest congratulations to all three.
I would also like to thank Sir Goryllin Dawyn, who has laboured
tirelessly to organise these awards. Nominations for future recipients
should be sent to him.
Krans Korinsson
The Hand of Phaestus
Penned by my hand on the 9th of Daedalan, in the year 496 AF.
