Your Demands.

Greetings Gorlasintan. I am afraid I do not know your title and could
not see you listed as actually serving in the Government of the City of
Mhaldor. Forgive me then for not truly believing you have the authority
for your declaration.
As per my attempt at discussing your poorly conceived post with you, and
your subsequent lathering at the mouth, I would like to inform you of a
few things.
Cyrene has had a policy of abstaining from involving the City as a whole
in the political and military matters of the cities and organizations
that litter Sapience. We continue to hold to that policy, remaining
uninvolved while granting our citizens free will to get personally
involved as they see fit as long as they continue to practice as
individuals. This policy is unchanging, even in the threat you
consistently repeated throughout our conversation.
Many organizations have seen fit to attempt to pressure the City of
Cyrene to act in such conflicts and affairs, on many different sides,
but none have succeeded. This is a point upon which we stand firm. We
are a City that does not involve itself in the conflicts of others. This
is true of the current conflict and your campaign to turn the lands of
Achaea into a constant battlefield.
The Sovereign City of Cyrene does not bow to the threats of others, nor
does it heel to the demands of those outside its borders. This will
remain true as well. You can threaten and ultimatum as it pleases you,
but the City of Cyrene is unmoved. We have kept the same policy and
response through these many years and you will find that we are not
craven dogs to cower when someone barks.
As you gave the city of Cyrene very little time to even actually
consider your demands if we even wanted to, and instead planned your
speech to give you a victorious reason to attack the fair City of
Cyrene, I am not able to speak with the full elegance of the Senate of
Cyrene and instead able to only offer you the simple answer.
No.
At this time, I will issue no restrictions or demands upon the citizens
of Cyrene regarding the current conflict on that now well known Island.
The citizens of Cyrene that choose to participate as individuals have
been warned of the fact that there are consequences, included that of
death, in choosing such a conflict. However, being a City that does not
regulate the very breaths of its citizens, there has been no Order to
cower in the corner because big bad Gorlasintan spoke.
Cyrene remains ever peaceful and neutral and prefer to remain out of
your conflict. However, since you wish in your very words "Mhaldor
wielding authority in Cyrene" it seems you are too eager to bring the
conflict to us. And again, we remain unmoved. Tis not the way of a
Cyrenian to be cowed by the belligerant words of an angry fool.
Sir Goryllin Dawyn.
