First, I would like to say that I come, not as a friend of Mhaldor, but
as a neutral party in this battle. I can see the point of Eleusis, that
Forestals all owe a certain allegiance to the forest. But, it is not the
place of Eleusis to enemy someone for not having that allegiance. The
city of Eleusis, for all its pride and grandness, is but a city that
owes its allegiance to the forest, it does not represent the forest
itself. It is not your place to enemy those who chose not to protect the
forest, that what the Council of Oakstone is for.
