The Foolishness of the Ivory Mark

So-called Champion,

While I commend a member of your organisation for finally showing some
backbone in an otherwise pointless blight upon the landscape of
existence, you will find that you have demonstrated a complete lack of
knowledge on the workings of our organisation. I must say that I'm not
surprised by the apparent incompetence on behalf of the Ivory
intelligence gathering expeditions, and as such will not give up more
than I have to.

I will put it to you simply, Champion, and hope that your overzealous
ears are not too badly clogged with the drivel you have been spewing to
the masses. While I am thankful that you have given your stamp of
approval for my promotion, I am positive in our rankings to know that
you are not one that can give me such a title. For you see, dear
Champion, if you think I am the most skilled of our assassins that will
be moving into our new headquarters, then you have quite the surprise in
store. I have passed your thoughts on to my masters, and they will be
more than willing to give you the grand tour once our construction
process is completed.

The Quisalis gain leadership through years of service and the
preservation of the craft that has been forged since our days upon
Nishnatoba. Our leaders are not defined by delusions of grandeur that
come to us in dreams and lead us to build towers in far off lands. If
you choose to submit to a leader that has lacked any knowledge of our
profession, that is your desire, but we of the Quisalis look forward to
the further teachings of the Council.

Perhaps instead of attempting to threaten those who value our services,
you should instead forge an alliance with any of the necromancers of our
land. With their help, you can raise the corpse of Makarta from the
earth, for even that pathetic coward was a stalwart model compared to
the garbage that you currently follow. If you need his skull to begin
the process, I may be able to wrangle it from the clutches of the Blood
Maiden for a price.
