And the Good News...

Hello Sapience:

Usually, I post here when either an apparent mistruth is spoken or when
hypocrisy pops up. Lately, it's been both! Bear in mind that I speak for
neither Lord Agatheis nor the Church in this post, and I thank Sir
Ilireth for giving me the funds to produce it.

A common goal of those in Chaos is the scholarly pursuit of information.
They study in order to learn and achieve some sort of enlightenment.
Information, in the form of tomes, letters, books, etc., is quite valued
and usually kept secret. When information is destroyed, (like during
heavily quoted Burning Times or when the forces of Light torched that
library) foul is immediately called.

For reasons like this, those in Chaos, and others, have often attacked
the Church. One point is calling it a hindrance to intellectual growth,
or a malicious organization that seeks to eliminate other opinions aside
from its own narrow one. Hmm!

Let me tie in this example to the information that Lord Agatheis has
graciously bestowed to mortals. His pillars are a great read, and, as
seen in the post prior to this, Flair and Babel think otherwise. But
that should be okay, right? I mean, those in Chaos have prided
themselves of being tolerant to all kinds of people, much unlike that
terrible Church. But what of freedom now? It seems the new Chaos God
cares nothing about freedom and seeks to destroy any other opinions.

But why? Why does Lord Agatheis' opinion bother those in Oblivion?
Supposedly, Oblivion is going to overcome us all anyway, so -why- worry
about it? Maybe because Lord Agatheis is speaking the Truth. Maybe
that's what it has to be censored. I certainly think so. Don't let
yourselves be tricked - Oblivion is -not- inevitable; this cult is
nothing but lies.

As we sing a cappella, may the Light keep us on Pitch!
