Corrections and Clarifications

Greetings my Lady,

It is good to see You have regained Your composure a little since last
we spoke. However, You continue to be mistaken on a number of fronts.
Your request for a Trial was actively under consideration - it still is,
in fact. Unfortunately, You did not wait for the results of the city
council's deliberations on that.

Swift action was required to save our city from the machinations and
division that had engulfed it. It was for this reason that I endeavoured
and strove to reach You, so that I might discuss how things had moved on
since we had last spoken.

If You had spoken with me, instead of posting to the city that I was to
be removed, I am confident this would never have occurred.

In fact, if You are so concerned with trials, m'Lady. Explain to the
world, why You removed Glint as a citizen acting on Your own authority
without a trial. Explain why You never objected to Tribal's removal from
the city, again without a trial. Indeed, there has not -been- a "Trial"
for over 200 years, not ever on any of the occasions when citizens have
been removed from the city. As I responded to Your request for
"clarification", perhaps You can clarify this for us? For does this not
contradict Your claim that You would do this for "any member" of Hashan?
A mistruth or a mistake, m'Lady?

Have You Yourself not done exactly what I have done?

And further, I wish one final clarification, I gave no insult to Lord
Hermes. I hold Him in the highest regard - indeed, He would make an
outstanding Patron of any organisation. I merely feared that You had
dripped poison in His ear, m'Lady. Perhaps it overstepped the mark to
suggest that, but certainly to Lord Hermes, no insult was intended. If
He found it so, then He has my most humble apology, and I will offer my
hunting essence to Him for the coming year as a gesture of respect.

Yours,
Saltaern Sioraiocht, Seneschal.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Sarapin, in the year 479 AF.
