Eris's Chaos

Dear Arel,
If you wish to make a comparison of Lady Eris's philosophy
of Chaos to that of Lord Babel, look no further than the heart
of your own city and the shameful nature of the Loving Hearts
Orphanage. The woman who founded that travesty, devoted to maiming
and killing innocent children for her own twisted purposes, claimed
it to benefit the very children it destroys even to this day. How
fitting that when Servelan de Vermiis ascended to become Eris,
She adopted the same tactic for marketing Chaos.
Dressing it up with a facade of rainbows and talking cookies does
not make Chaos any less destructive to Creation. Emphasizing the
pragmatic and creative uses of Chaos does not lessen the very real
risk inherent in employing them. Calling that slaughterhouse in
Ashtan the "Loving Hearts Orphanage" does not make it any less of
an institution of murder. Like the name and appearance of the
orphanage, the Eris philosophy of Chaos aims to hide its true nature.
While I am adamantly opposed to His efforts to drag Creation into
Oblivion, I at least have respect for Lord Babel's forthrightness
about the nature of His realm.
You cannot have it both ways.
Most sincerely,
Solar Stormcrow
