To continue our bemused response

Really now Jaizsur, it does help if you pick up a book or two about
history as well. Since Gnaash has spoken on the happy fact that we have
not apparently barred Lord Thoth Himself i'll speak on the best part of
your post. The bit about the rushed decision.

You see, we've not allowed Cyrenians to be order members of Lord Thoth
for a good century now. If you wish us to slow down the process even
more i'm sure I suggest a few new forms in triplicate to fill out and a
couple of referendums but personally i'm pretty sure a Century isn't
exactly rushing it.

You see, over a century or so ago, in case you missed this one: Lord
Thoth set fire to one of our house holds. Now that tends to be something
that sticks in the memory a bit. This coupled with your reaction does
seem to suggest that Thothian Cyrenians might not work.

This does not mean that Lord Thoth Himself is not welcome in the city,
or any law abiding Thothian order members! By all means if you obey our
laws come enjoy our excellent spirits, clothing and weaponry, as well as
our entertainment and excellent culture. I recommend seeing the Mojushai
house hold myself, it's rather an amazing spectacle of granite and other
decidedly inflammable materials. I can't see why this might be so, aside
from that whole burning thing. Did I mention that? I might have not, I
mean that kind of thing can slip minds so easily.

The senate takes requests from any order seriously and spent quite some
time debating this one. But it appears that the right decision was made
if threats are already being made to the city. This does not speak of an
apparently apologetic order who if I recall "does not wish any ill to
Cyrene" We will be happy to consider future requests of course, taking
this matter into account as well I imagine.

I hope this has been of some small assistance to you.

Patiently replying,
Finchy Ithilien
