World-Wide Painting Contest - Second Call for Paintings!

Good tidings, Sapience.

As posted in Public News 17692, Cyrene is holding a world-wide painting
contest as part of our grand opening of the public athenaeum we are
about to unveil. Less than six months remain to enter the contest. As
such, I'd like to emphasize a few things.

The theme of this contest is Literary Figures, Places and Things. Given
the purpose of this contest involves celebration of scholarship and the
grand opening of the athenaeum, please look towards topics such as the
libraries and athenaeums of our lands, the librarians, educators and
scholars across the realms, or perhaps scrolls, journals and inkpots and
other such things - whatever inspires you or comes to mind when you
think of literary subjects, scholarship and knowledge.

We have thus far only received two entries. If entries don't
dramatically increase in these final months of the contest, we'll
re-evaluate the category and prize structure as they currently stand.

As you know from the prior post, our plan is to create a compilation of
all of these works for our athenaeum, entitled "Literary Figures, Places
and Things", and announce the winners during our upcoming grand opening.

Please refer to the referenced post for full details of the contest.

I hope to see you all at the upcoming grand opening, and enjoy
dove-delivered paintings from you in the meantime!

To the Arts and Scholarship of the Realms,
Beneficia

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Daedalan, in the year 475 AF.
