My good Sultan,

One of your less intelligent citizens has taken to referring to himself
as 'Dragonslayer.' This would be one thing if he were ever to actually
slay a dragon. However, I have offered him ample opportunity to attempt
to slay me, and his sole response was to cower on Fish Street, safely
sheltered within Shallam's protective arms. Given that my repeated
public challenges have remained unmet, and that he has not complied with
my subsequent request that he renounce his claim upon the title, I am
now turning to you to offer him a more accurate one. My suggestion was
'Ratsbane,' but 'Coward of the East' would be equally appropriate. I
trust that the Jewel will address this matter with all due haste.

Respectfully yours,
Griffel Crescent

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Daedalan, in the year 475 AF.
