What is Good?

The Gods of Good and Valour are trying to create the ultimate Utopia
where no Chaos or Evil exists. What then, what meaning will the Good
have? None- is the simple answer. In the ultimate Utopia, Good will only
be a word. A child will ask his father, "Father, what does Good mean?"
The father then will have no answer, "Good is when no Evil or Chaotic
creatures are no longer walk our plane. No more conflict. Sol caresses
us with Her warmth, Harmony 'dominates' our world, and Valour is in our
hearts to defeat the Evil if it will ever return." The father would say
to his son. But is that the answer the child is looking for? No.

In truth, Utopia does not exist. No matter how hard you try to destroy
Chaos and Evil, a piece of it will always remain, but not lurking in the
shadows or the underworld, waiting for the right moment to strike back.
It will always remain in our very own hearts. Every child is born
innocent, but the children grow up and they begin making their own
decisions. Some of these decisions are, unfortunately, not as 'good.' If
you want to really purge the Sapience of Chaos and Evil, you would have
to kill every single mortal and the unborn child. But then again, even
the Gods are not immune to the temptation of taint.

The united effort of Rho and Silas is very intriguing; especially their
withstanding all the insults, spit in their faces, and anger from
majority of us is very amazing. Most would just give up and suicide from
the disappointment and bad nerves. But these two have pushed it forth;
unfortunately, the two have taken a wrong approach, it seems that two
minds aren't always better than one.

Creating Oppression and Suffering throughout the Sapience in their
crusade against the Chaos isn't an approach a real leader of Good and
the one with a mind of his own would take. Of course, destroying lives
and hurting a few innocents for the greater 'Good' doesn't really matter
to the ambitious mind. But does everyone feel this way? In the real
Good, no innocent should be hurt, or maybe some of us are just
misunderstanding the concept of Good.

Rho and Silas are waging war against everyone. Two leaders wage war, one
is hiding in Nirvana and the other behind his guards, ordering their
sheep to attack while they stay safe. That reminds me of a quote, "When
the rich wage war, it is the poor who die." In this case, the two
leaders who care not for any of their loyal subjects wage war against
the Sapience, abusing their power, and those same loyal individuals who
believe in them, die for them.. For what cause, the Good? Doubtful.

They declare war against a Neutral city and a Village. One of which has
always come to Shallam's or Church's aide and not to mention, a good
number of the Villagers of Eleusis were part of a Shallamese House, some
of the Church, and others were allies of the Jewel and the Church. Yet,
those villages were enemied only because they chose diversity and the
best way of protecting the Nature and they chose to care for their
neighbors. In village every inhabitant knows one another and they have
become a family at a certain level, and family is one of the most
important treasures that an individual has and will ever have. They
cherish it, and that already tells you something, at least I hope.

Why Hashan? Because Hashan, just like Eleusis, chose not to bend to the
lesser lords who wish to control every single mind. We are free and we
think as free individuals with the ability of making our own choices and
our own decisions.

But, what does the Church or even Shallam have anything to do with a
completely different City's internal affair? Neither the Church nor
Shallam are part of these two cities, much less they own them. Then why
did they have the need of enemying every single individual that belongs
to these cities, even those who have barely arrived from the Trial of
Rebirth. There are many questions, but sadly not even half of them will
be answered simply because they don't even have an answer, instead they
will thrash you and shove you aside. Take the easy way.

I know that there are many of those who support the two and will go to
many lengths to aide them, even if in turn they will become hated and
the very thing they are fighting against. It is only because these
individuals fight for the Light and what they believe in, they have
faith. Rho and Silas both may have started fighting for what they
believed is right with the best intentions but as they began trying
harder, they have become corrupt, twisted the very meaning of Light and
Good. Over time, the desire for power and control, the need of banishing
everything they hate and outcasting what they dislike has grown,
blinding them both, and with that, using the Good as an excuse to
justify their actions and satisfy their own ambitions.

Pity that many choose to be their sheep, 'Baaa.' Following orders is
much easier than having a mind of your own, isn't it? Perhaps they, too,
are mere sheep that are following orders.

Don't bother replying to this post, it is a mere outspoken opinion of an
individual mind, and at the same time, heartache for the gullible minds.
Thank You Lord Pentharian for I already burn, not by Your Righteous Fire
and Light, but burning in the disappointment. It would seem that it is
safer not to make promises that one can't keep.

Sincerely,
Kotyonok Xanatov
