Regarding the Jewel of the East

Greetings brethren,

I entered the realms but a day ago to find a travesty had befallen my
beloved Jewel. It was at the time, a crushing defeat. My heart ached for
the supposed loss.

However, as I wandered the Halls of Maya shortly thereafter, I reflected
upon this incident. Able now, am I, to write with confidence, this
message.

You have taken our lands. You have slain our guards. You have decimated
our totems. You repeatedly slay our denizens. You have yet to take our
spirit. You will find, filth, that no taint of yours shall ever burn
away the Light. You shall find that the Eastern Jewel will rise strong
and break your oppressive tides. You shall find, that in our faith, we
transcend death and despair, and that triumph shall always-- always, be
ours.

To quote a wise man, "You have won the battle; yet you have not won the
war."

In eternal service,
