And here I had just begun to believe that Shallam was an opponent worthy
of my time. Your blatant hypocrisy sets your kind back a thousand pages
in Sapience's collective book. You justify allying with members of a
city that you are at war with, conveniently substituting 'Chaos' with
'Freedom' when referring to Ashtani ideals in a positive light. Was it
not your very leaders who declared that 'Freedom' was a front for their
propensity towards Chaos?

I cannot find fault with Eleusis -or- Ashtan in this, unfortunately.
Shallam has become the whore of Sapience, passed around between the
various cities as determined by their will, more than willing to give up
her values for the sake of a few moments of acceptance. Disgusting,
yes... but most definitely fitting.

Truly, you Shallamese are a greater threat to your own ideals than we
ever will be. I have enjoyed watching your city purge the weak ones
among you through Warfare. Unfortunately, it seems that you are unable
to shoulder the burden of strength any longer.

For now I am resigned to playing a waiting game, anticipating the moment
your city finally self-destructs and you cast out the few leaders worthy
of meeting the forces of Evil in the field of battle, all in the name of
leading an easier life. And in that day, Shallamite... in that glorious
day, Evil shall rule.
