Your Icon hangs by a thread; its very foundations tottered this day. We
know your weakness, it is only a matter of time. Cast out the Corten
stain, which does nothing to protect Nature and only serves to bring
down bloody violence upon your heads. There is still time to act; but
act quickly or the loss of your Icon will be only the start of your
woes. You should note, with trepidation, that this is but the actions of
a handful of Mhaldorians who can stand by no longer while Rangor and his
ilk oppose the will of Evil, pray to the Gods of the Forest that you do
not draw the ire of the city itself.

I was surprised in the course of our assault on the Sentinel Icon to
note Ashtani and Shallamese fighting together under a single command.
Perhaps it is a play-war you fight? To be put aside when convenient?
Certainly, your willingness to accept the defence of those enemied to
the Holy Church would seem to suggest so. Even I, who has seen so much
hypocrisy from your cities, was surprised that you would allow your
bitter enemies to act as comrades-in-arms. I had heard rumour that the
heart of Shallam was no longer in this war, I must reluctantly conclude
that the rumour is true.
