To all who wish to read,
Let me begin by stating that I am a loyal follower of Good foremost and
therefor a citizin of Shallam a very close second. As such, I do see
Chaos as a dangerous, perilous path and if those who lead the
organizations that I follow feel war is the best course to combat it's
unstable power at this time, then I shall not speak word against it.
However, I do not pretend to be a strong fighter. I will defend when
necessary and accept the risks that come with it, but can easily be a
liability rather than an asset on a true battlefield. It is for this
reason that I must question what I can best do to aide the efforts of
Good and I do believe I have found an answer.
Consider this now an open invitation to speak with me on the subject of
Good and Chaos. I do not intend to preach or give sermon, but rather
debate, discuss, answer questions and perhaps question myself. It is
indeed my intention to change your mind in these circumstances, or at
least give a few thoughts to ponder, but we will only speak as long as
you wish.
I would like to emphasize that this invitation is truly open and every
request, from a Praetor of Ashtan to the newest novice, will be met if
possible. Simply send me a message with your wish to speak and we will
agree on some neutral location and suitable time. I am sure some will
attempt to use this invitation to lure me outside of Shallam to do me
harm and this is a risk I fully accept. Please do note, however, that I
am not a soldier of Shallam, simply a citizin, so do be aware of the
rules governing this sort of action.
Let me close by stating that this post does not come at the behest, or
even under the approval, of the Sultan of Shallam or my brother the
Archprelate Rho Evensong. I will present my own ideas and ideals as well
as genuinely listen to others do the same. This is my effort and I take
it with both a readied mind and determined spirit. I do hope that there
are some out there who will take this offer.
