Quick though your point may be, it has been disproven by centuries of
words and actions by members of your City and its Church.

You are, most likely, the first person to ever voice your opinion that
Good is not out to destroy Chaos. I have never, in my lengthy life,
heard any anti-Chaos martyr state that their only goal is to keep Chaos
on its side of the fence, as it were. In fact, many actions of the
anti-Chaosians have stated quite loudly that they are not out to keep
Chaos on its side of the fence, but rather are out to take over Chaos'
side of the fence.

Please keep in mind Occultists are not the only enablers of Chaos. As
mortals, we are imperfect. Good people are not good all the time.
Everyone is capable of creating Chaos and most likely has done so in
their lifetime, one way or another. Regardless, I am glad you do not
seek to destroy Chaos. Perhaps next you will gain the revelation that
Chaos cannot be destroyed. Chaos is an energy, and energy can never be
created nor destroyed; it is constant and continual, merely changing
forms from time to time. As long as there is Good and as long as there
is Evil, and as long as conflict exists between the two, always will
there be Chaos.

Lastly, though I admire your Lady Lorielan's research on the topic, I
will remind you of one thing. The only Divine authority of Chaos that
exists are those Divinities that are the embodiment of Chaos itself, and
only two of Them have ever existed; They are the ONLY Divine authority
on Chaos. I could research for centuries on the Church and its ways and
no matter how educated I become, its not going to make me a Churchie.
(Thank the Gods for that, but that is another story for another time)
