Citizens of Ashtan,

Shallam is committed to ridding Sapience of the threat of Chaos, and to
defending the innocents who live here. Following this post, as the
Sultan of Shallam, I will be declaring war on Ashtan and we will fight
to see the Occultists routed, and their vile works destroyed. Those who
stand in our way will be put to the sword.

You now have a choice. There are many of you, I am sure, who are simply
blinded by the lies spread by the Occultist guild - the largest
gathering of Chaos supporters on Sapience - and those who defend them,
but it is now time to open your eyes. You must see the threat of Chaos
for what it is, or you will renounce your claim to innocence, and
forfeit the protection offered to you by the Light.

Ashtan professes Freedom, but this is nothing but a lie perpetuated by
its government as a cover for the atrocities that they endorse and
encourage. You need look only at the Loving Hearts Orphanage that Ashtan
still allows to stand in their city to see just how little freedom it
affords even to its most defenceless citizens, as they are butchered to
continue experiments in Chaos.

You must choose, citizens of Ashtan, whether you wish to allow this to
go on - whether you will defend it, whether you will stand by and do
nothing, or whether you will open your eyes, regain your senses, and
leave that city of degradation and deceit. At dawn, we go to war. Make
your choice now, or I will see you on the battlefield as the followers
of Light stand up to finish the job started by the Luminai, and
obliterate those followers and defenders of Chaos on Sapience.
