Hashan and the Rule of Law

Dyzanru,
Forgiveness is a rare virtue in these lands, and I commend you on your
level-headedness. However, if you believe that a miscarriage of justice
has been done, then the appropriate redress is to approach me or the
Minister of Security.
Hashan is a city, above all else, of laws; judged as fairly and
impartially as is possible in this imperfect world. The system is
flawed, as all mortal systems are, but we extend to you, as we would
extend to any individual, the right to have their case reviewed in the
light of the available evidence.
I would also note that taking one's grievance to the public boards is
rarely the most effective means of achieving concrete results.
Yours,
Saltaern Sioraiocht, Seneschal.
Penned by my hand on the 12th of Phaestian, in the year 460 AF.
