Service to Evil

Greetings Sapience,
It is not often that I write to this place. Not often there is something
worth writing. This month is different. If you have no opinion in the
Good versus Evil struggle in this world, you may gain something from
this.
Recently, as some may know I left the service to Evil. The events
leading up to it, and what caused it is a story not fit to tell here.
What I can detail are the accounts of my last moments in service to
Evil. During my final time in Mhaldor, a conversation was struck with
the Tyrannus of Mhaldor. It opened my eyes and my mind to the real
Truths of Mhaldor. Evil does not serve the world. It does not serve the
people. It does not serve even the lives of those who live by its
teachings.
Some would say that these things are fairly evident. You'd think it to
be perfectly clear that Evil only serves itself. I suppose you would
consider me foolish and blind to think that I would've actually gained
something positive in Mhaldor. What I learned is that in service to Evil
all you gain is the recognition that you've served. You do not create
progress in the world, and you certainly do not reap the benefits of of
your deeds. As some would say, you reap what you sow. Spread the seeds
of Evil, and that is what you will have returned to you. Take that as
you will.
Let it be known that I have renounced my place among Evil, and that
under my watch no man, woman, or child shall unrightfully suffer or face
oppression. This I swear before the world, and may the Divine Themselves
thrash me, shall I ever break these words.
