Three Lies, Two Truths, and a Fact, Continued.

Addressed to: Everyone
My name is being Ketariss, and I is mostly unaware of a great many
things, but one thing that I is knowing, is that when you is being poor,
you is needing gold. I is also knowing, when someone is mailing you a
letter with 5000 gold to be doing a simple task, it is usually just
common to take gold and be done. But when 5000 gold more is bein
promised to do simple task, it is seeming like good idea to do task. The
task is being simple. Repeat on public news, what is being written on
letter. So, I is having tough problem. Should I keep 5000 gold, and be
done, or spend 1000 to do task in hopes of getting 5000 gold more for
total of 9000 gold for doing simple thing?
So, I is figuring I is giving it a shot. this is what is being written
on letter that I is to be repeating. If nobody is liking it, blame
person who sent letter and paid me. Way I is figuring it, nobody is
reading this anyways, so either way, I is making gold. To whoever sent
me letter, I expect 5000 gold, especially if I is getting mad at by
someone who was not being mad at me before.
This is words written:
Indeed it is I, the same who requested of Lord Santar to make a post on
the public news some time ago in public news 17383, and it was replied
by distasteful ramblings in 17384 that I will bring to light.
In regards to Honorains reply to mine, I shall in turn, reply to his.
LIES
1- Friendship is a Lie.
You reply to mine, stating the exact opposite of my ideal. And you are
wrong. In creating friendship, you weaken yourself. You think your bonds
with friends and the like makes you better? No. You are wrong. Through
struggles we become strong, but through our weaknesses we become, well
weak. And friendship is a weakness we create for ourselves. If you hold
a bond with your friends, and you think conflict greater then that bond
would separate you, then they were never friend to begin with. In all
friendships, there is always at least one conflict to cause them to turn
on you. ALWAYS. In some, it is a matter of gold, others, power, and
others, it may be family or other friends. No matter the cause,
friendships are frail things that can change. By claiming friendship,
you create an unnecessary bond with another that weakens you, both
during your friendship, where you are held in expectation and expect of
them more then you would another, putting yourself out of your way to
aide them because they are friend. And again you weaken yourself when
they betray you and the thought hits your mind and you feel pain in your
heart that you have been betrayed, and the bond is not just broken but
shattered. No. Mortals do not need friends. We need allies, those who
are on our side to aide us in bettering ourselves. If you think we need
something greater then that, then you have no doubt weakened yourself
with petty ideals. In case of allies, you are expected of little, and
there is no disappointment if they fail you or you fail them, because
there is no bond. In a city if one member makes a great mistake, they
can simply be removed from the city, and everyone moves on, but in
friends, they lose this simplicity and complicate the world and their
lives. Do not hold to such a petty lie.
In an add-on, I question this of you Rho, to prove me wrong. If your
greatest friend or your spouse were to simply turn to the side of Chaos,
and left Shallam would you stay friends or married? Would you disown
them entirely? Could you? No. Because your personal ideals are greater
then that. Even if they begged to stay friends you would disown them,
because you cannot give up your position as head of the Church for a
friend because in fact, friendship does not exist. They were allies, and
you would feel betrayed and hurt because you made up a false bond called
friendship. This will be my proof. A friend would beg to remain, but
since neither of you could give up your ideals, you would both feel
betrayed by the other. It is because of that bond. If there was no bond,
it would just be a simple act of waving goodbye and getting on with your
life. But who would be the villain? Rho, for disowning a beloved friend?
No, of course not, they turned to Chaos, they were never truly friends.
But nobody believes that. A simple lie to tell yourself to mask the
pain. It is a foolish thing, friendship.
2- Good and Evil is a Lie.
Indeed, I did say Good and Evil is merely two sides of the same coin, to
put it simply. But it doesnt matter what side of the coin your looking
at, your still looking at a coin. That is all I see when I look at
Mhaldor and Shallam. You think its a meaningless thing, but fights and
squabbles have broken out only because of a difference in opinion. One
side of the coin at war with the other. My only point was, was not to
look at it that way. Neither sides ideals are better than the others.
You claim that when you look at the road you take, you decide if its
worth it or not. Ask any high ranking member of Mhaldor or Shallam if
they think its been worth it, and theyll tell you yes, its the other
side thats not worth it. The only difference I see, is that Mhaldor at
least doesnt force its ideals on me. Sure the thieves practice their
ideals on me, but not force me to believe them. But yet, Shallams
thieves have practiced their ideals on me as well, yet they wanted to
force me into their belief while they did it! Shallam and the Church are
one and the same as far as Im concerned and they are trying to force
their ideals that Good is the only way of life, join us or die. Mhaldor
just goes ahead and robs you in the name of their Lords and moves on.
Shallam and Mhaldor themselves cannot decide which side is better but
the people on the sidelines like myself can pray what side the coin
lands on when flipped.
In an add-on, If only Mhaldor and Shallam existed, who would you side
with? Me? I go with neither because currently there is too much fighting
amongst each other. Good and Evil does not exist, therefore it is a
foolish thing to fight for. But, if I had to choose, Id choose Mhaldor.
Why? Because a life devoted to a Lord who wishes only for me to better
myself seems far greater then Shallam, that only wants to destroy
everyone else who isnt them. It would be too much of a waste of my time,
trying to get strong for what? To destroy Evil, Chaos and Sin? In all my
life, nobody of Chaos, Evil, or Sin has ever meant me any harm. A few
thieves but again, even Shallam has its thieves. Only Shallam has ever
made me question my life and my choices that I still stand by today.
Shallam in my opinion, is the only thing brining Evil into this world in
the name of what THEY call Good.
3- Truth is a Lie
This was simply a way of stating that everyones words should mean
nothing to us, including my own. Words are a simple way of expressing
ones knowledge, even if most of it is considered truth to them, you
could attempt the same thing and find yourself lying. Even in my words,
no doubt the absolute truth to me, those of you reading find a great
many lies, because of your taught ideals. Its point of brining up was
that to bring to attention that nobody tells the truth, and you should
never assume such, ever, unless you test it for yourself.
To add-on, my ideals seem like lies to you, but test them out for
yourself. Take a break from your routines and try my way of life. See
how much of it is the truth for you. Dont just keep your ideals in your
head as the truth and call me a liar simply because the two conflict. I
am open to a great many ideals, and that is why I have come to the
conclusion I have. Take my words, make them your own, and come to your
own conclusion.
TRUTHS
1- Advancement of the self is all that matters.
You claimed that while advancement of the self is important, it is not
all important. You sir, have been lied to, and your assumption is
incorrect. Even if your lifes ambition is to protect others, you must
first become strong yourself. But if you have to weaken yourself by
helping every person along the way, then you have failed. In one year,
you could have gained 10 circles, as an example, not literally, and at
the end of that year, been able to help 100 people. Instead, during that
year, you helped the weak, and the useless who would not help
themselves, and instead, you only gained 5 circles, and at the end of
the year, the 100 you could have helped that needed it were lost,
because you weakened yourself along the way. This is another example of
friendship, and companionship. To help those who could have helped
themselves weakens them. They could only be made stronger through their
own conflicts. Instead, you took that struggle from them, and weakened
them, and yourself. You wasted time weakening others and therefore
weakening yourself. The weak should either find the strength to better
themselves, or die. If they hold you back, they should feel ashamed, not
grateful. And if you truly become great, help those 100 people by
teaching them that they should become better themselves, and move on,
instead of begging for help like fools. The advancement of the self, is
all that matters, yes, but if you also aide others in realizing this,
youve gained allies later who will help you better yourself.
To add-on, think of it this way, but not literally, I might consider it
wasting my time telling people to stop trying to help others, and only
strengthen themselves, but it would be a much more wasted task helping
them personally, attending to their needs, and actually doing things for
them instead of making them do it themselves. So, in a shorter amount of
time, Ive told everyone a single ideal, and may even gain believers and
followers. More of my kind who will help me gain power in other ways,
rather than simply giving it to me. It seems contradictory, but in a
sense, if you truly understand my words, it is not.
2- The City-States are worthless.
You claimed everyone and everything has its place. That might be true,
but in the case of the cities, they have no place while they oppose each
other or remain stagnant. Shallam is causing more trouble than Ashtan or
Mhaldor ever dreamed of, and the other cities are just sitting by,
instead of stopping them. What place in Sapience is there for a single
disruptive city, and five more who choose to do nothing? There is no
place.
To add-on, it is my personal believe that one city should rule the
others. I dont care which one, but instead of each city having its own
ways, that conflict each other, I say one city should rule all. I dont
care which one, as long as its not Shallam for if Shallam were to rule,
we would all be forced into a single belief. I however, strongly believe
that if any of the other five cities were to be in control, we could all
maintain our lifestyles, with slight alterations. Such as if Mhaldor
were to rule, All cities could remain the same, except a tribute the
Lords would be demanded, which is understandable, and none of any of the
remaining cities can oppose the laws of Mhaldor, though are free to rob
and such as always from each other, after all, it is struggles and
conflicts that make us strong.
FACT
1- War. Is. A. Must.
You claim conflict is a must. This may be true, on a smaller scale, but
currently struggles are all we have. If step over a log every few feet
on the road to our goals, we become slightly stronger when we reach the
end, and feel weve accomplished something. However if you walk a road
full of pitfalls and the logs are the size of buildings, then all youve
done is delayed yourself from your goal when a simpler path could have
been chosen. Conflicts are a must yes, but in these times it seems
impossible to accomplish anything that isnt only a conflict in itself.
So, I say, a war is a must. A war to end one great conflict that stands
in not just mine, but EVERYBODYs way. You all hate to admit it, but
without Shallam, Sapience would be a better place.
To add-on, true if they create conflict they help us all become great,
but what they are doing is no simple log in our paths, or even a raggedy
old bridge, its a narrow road off a cliff and steep decent into a lava
field. If the existence of Shallam is such a strong, and meaningless
conflict, then I say instead of putting up with it, the more rewarding
conflict would be to remove them altogether! To destroy Shallam and its
petty ways. No doubt there would be other conflicts, but none as
meaningless as this! Destroy Shallam, and take on a conflict that
actually means something! Dont be held back and badgered by Shallams
ways when its a miniscule task, destroy them and move on!
I suppose you could view my ideal as a way to not trust anybody, and
only strive to better yourself, and to keep your allies as just tools to
that cause. It seems harsh, but it is not as it sounds. Im not saying
really not to trust anyone, only to realize they are not as smart as
they think they are, and neither are you. Im not really saying we serve
no point in this world, only that you should not exist for others, and
they shouldnt expect you to, they should only aide you when they can,
and not because they should have to and you should be content with that.
If we are all tools for each others use, with the same ideal of
bettering ourselves, we could work together as one towards all of us
become great, not bickering at each other over who is better than who,
or wasting time comparing ideals, when we could all share a superior
ideal that serves everyone. Im not saying its a perfect ideal, it is
with flaws, but if we started working towards this ideal, together, we
could help make it something great.
Together, we could have Peace.
