Thank you

Hail,

I thank you both, Archprelate and Sultan, for stirring the smoldering
embers of passion and duty thought long forgotten within the breast of
Ashtan's citizens. The Church and Shallam's most recent incursion upon
the territory of the Bastion of the North has done naught but awaken the
slumbering Eagle of Freedom.

We recall the age-old struggle between our respective founders, and the
Kings and Sultans who followed; the battles that laid waste to the Pash
and Sangre, that forged heroes like General Zarathustra and Travian
Shea. I thank you for reminding us that flying the banner of freedom
requires a measure of responsibility and dedication, and that our blood
will emancipate those who wish to free themselves from the oppression of
The Church and its City of Light.

While many died, their deaths were not in vain and their souls are now
consigned to the Soul Realm. Their sacrifices serve only to make us
stronger and more determined.

As you may have noticed your people were routed from our streets, we do
not fear you.

We are awakened, and our wings are broad.

-Askiva
