"Your arrogance amuses me, mortal. It's a shame no one will ever take
you seriously."
This was the tell I received not too long ago. An unknown God or Goddess
saw fit to give me the motivation to continue my works. Thank you,
whoever you may be.
Since my last post I have received a True Disfavour from Lord
Pentharian. I would not presume to judge the works of a God but I feel I
have been wronged here. I still belive I showed bravery and courage for
what I did. But I am a mere mortal and do not have divine knowledge
I have sent out a call to arms, issued and ultimatum, and have had
neither of them considered. Achaeans, this is no longer a matter of Good
or Evil, for both are relative. We have reached an age that may be
forever immortalized in the halls of history. As I have said before,
there is no greater evil than the indifference of good men. Many of you
disagree with my words, and I respect your right to. Unlike the Church
whom seeks to destroy you if you contradict them, I will peacefully talk
my points with anyone who desires to listen. And in return listen to
their opinions with an open mind.
I am not a supporter of the Church and nor am I a supporter of Chaos,
but both are necessary for life. Lord Daedalus, the Guardian of Balance,
is the embodiment of this simple truth. Good and Evil feed off of each
other. From Chaos comes Order and from Order comes Chaos. Chaos is
necessary for change and Order for stability. If one was removed the
balance would shift and the world as we know it would never recover.
I have read the teachings of many Gods and Goddesses. The words of the
Lords and Ladies, all speak of what they believe in and what we should
believe in. Am I saying we should shun them? Most certainly not. But we
must use our own set of morals to judge our actions. Not fully rely on
someone elses.
I have done what I have done for the benefit of all mankind. Tis better
to die for a cause you believe in, than to live for nothing. I have been
punished, and I have learned my lesson. Now the time has come for me to
share my experience with the world
So with this prayer I end my impassioned plea for balance Free us, Lord
Sarapis, from the perjudice we hold, the hatred we feel, Give us the
wisdom of Lord Lorielan, the courage embraced by Lord Pentharian, The
fruits of Lady Miramar, and live with Lady Tarah, and Lady Oneiros in
our hearts.
Thank you my friends.
Penned by my hand on the 21st of Mayan, in the year 458 AF.
