I would not so much call it a feeble attempt at destabilization as I
would call it the truth. But, oh...I forget. You Darkwalkers don't deal
in that concept much if at all do you. To quote you own Lord's
teachings: "Truth is just not in our box of tools, but there are other
goodies that more than make up for it."

That being said, Shallam is just supposed to what? Take your word for it
that you were there on peaceful terms? Take the word of a Darkwalker as
honest and above board. Is that your attempt at a joke?

To be honest (which again I understand is a foreign concept to you, but
bear with me) I doubt any strong willed, forward thinking person at all
will have a hard time seeing you for what you are.

I cannot speak for the Church but I highly doubt they need your
forgiveness to continue to function. If I walk into a city and they tell
me to leave and I don't and they kill me, well that is not their fault
and it certainly does not make me a martyr. It makes me either stupid,
stubborn, or part of some larger manipulation under the surface. Take
your pick.
