I hate posting, but my friends and family have died; I feel obligated.

We Ancients of Darkness, we came to Shallam to remember, rejoice. We
brought drink and well wishes; we did nothing but offer to share.

A city that once bore Dark Prelates, that used to let any who sought
peace and 'goodness' refuge... you slew us to the man. You killed my
friends who I have not seen in nigh centuries.. you killed a pacifist
who has never done harm, in Darkness or not. The only one to defend
merely tried to save his wife's life.

In all honesty, we knew not that being of Darkness was illegal in
Shallam. For centuries we have come to the city to meet with your
leaders, remember important figures in our lives now gone, and to
celebrate life... all without threat to our person. For having the
audacity to share our drink, we apologize.

In short: I have always respected the Church and Shallam, though we
might disagree. You stood for a belief and fought for it, something I
can almost always agree with. However, in this case you slew innocents.
You robbed innocents of the gold they lost dying, and you destroyed the
alcohol they brought to share.

Murderers. Thieves.

And of course... you do this all based on a 'list' of Darkness'
followers. Thanks for stopping to ask us if it were true. Justice. Pah!
