I must ask the followers of Chaos--Babelites, Revolutionaries, Erisians,
Occultists, all--why your knowledge, knowledge that you claim is at the
root of all Creation, must be kept in secret.

When the Church burnt your scrolls, much of what we destroyed had never
seen the eyes of one not already immersed in your perverse and
changeable systems of thought.

Good has no such secrets; no initiation is required to enter our holy
places and read our core texts. So if our scrolls are burned, it is only
a fiscal loss. Judging by the reactions of the Chaotic, this simple act
of setting aflame has been something more than a fiscal loss to you.

The Chaotic keep their secrets because they know that Chaos, like the
flames that burned while Flair spoke his lies, quenches itself after
having exhausted all tinder.
