Greetings, Sapience,

A few people have asked, so I thought I would clarify publically that
Shallam stands opposed to Chaos.

We swear an oath as Shallamese to "uphold the ideals that Shallam is
based on", to "harm no innocent," and to "take no action that knowingly
empowers Evil, Darkness, or Chaos."

Shallam is based on the ideals of Goodness and Light. We protect
Creation against those forces that would seek to manipulate, dominate,
or to destroy it, and it has been said that Chaos is one of the most
dangerous of those forces. Anybody who has read the mythos, or seen some
of the abominations that have unfolded under the direct influence of
Chaos will understand why.

As such, we fully endorse any action that weakens Chaos. As the city of
Light, that is our task, and our call.

If you stand for Chaos, you stand against the Light, and against
Shallam. If you do not, then we have no quarrels with you.
