The immortality of an idea

Greetings, Sapience.

I represent the Revolutionaries of chaos.

It has been a dark day for those who value freedom and knowledge. The
forces of the Good, continuing their centuries-old crusade of
intolerance and aggression, has burned the library of the followers of
Babel.

I'm certain they realize the inevitable parallels this will draw to the
Burning Times. Scattered cabals of Occultists were ill-prepared for the
tide of steel-clad oppressors that flooded forth from the Church and the
Luminai. Most were slain, their homes and libraries put to the torch,
the secrets of the Occult reduced to ash and lost to Sapience for
centuries.

I call upon all those who value Chaos and knowledge... all those who
would resist the coming of another era of intolerance and persecution...
all those who remember the cost of the Burning Times... join with us in
battle for the very ideals you hold dear.

To those who follow Eris... I realize that relations between our groups
have long been tense. Our ideologies and our beliefs differ, but still
we share common ground in our love of Chaos. I remember growing up in an
Erisian Ashtan and Occultist guild. I remember the appetite for
knowledge, the free interchange of ideas, and the glory of triumph over
Good and intolerance. Will you sit idly, and let the memories of those
days slip further from the mind...? Will you stand up for what you
believe in, or will you wait until the torches reach the Pyramid?

We have not forgotten the Burning Times.

We will not forget what you have done.

We are coming for you.
