Further, I expect that in accordance with your stance, you will soon be
petitioning your fair village Eleusis to request from Semanthia monetary
fees in exchange for permitting her to pitch her wares there.

Why not the rest of your village's merchants as well? I'm certain that
unlike this curmudgeonly old dwarf, the Eleusian merchants will surely
see the common sense in such a request and shall be happy to pay both
retroactive and future fees. Certainly, you must agree that they owe it
to you.
