Good and Evil

Greetings, Followers of Evil, from the Anointed of Light.

I come to you today with a proposal.

In days gone by, our two sides did battle with more than our sword arms,
daeggers and maces. In the marketplace of ideas, scholars from both
faiths competed for the hearts and minds of the people of this land.

I come to you with an observation.

For centuries our forces have been locked in a battle for the souls of
Sapience. Yet as our battle has raged on, a segment of the populous has
wandered, blissfully ignorant of our struggle on their behalf. That
which is implicit to us sounds ambiguous to these unfortunate souls,
trapped between our polar religions.

I come to you with a challenge.

In days gone by, our battle was not contained to this mortal coil. As a
Synod of the Anointed, I hereby challenge the citizens of Mhaldor to a
debate, that the gospel and veracity of our two faiths might be heard by
all the land. Should you accept, I will work out logistical details with
a representative of your choice. Let the ears of Sapience hear again the
clarion call of the Lord of Valour.

Sir Zhuge Aodh'Liang, Elysian Saracen

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Mayan, in the year 457 AF.
