My Betrayal

Greetings Populace of Sapience,
These words are directed at those who have come in contact with me,
particularly my mother, Anaidiana Obuun, and Prelate Runa Rian.
I have deceived many of you into believing that I was loyal to Good. I
have chosen to publicly join the ranks of Mhaldor, after years of
private service. Why would I do such a thing? Why would I betray
Shallam, the Empyreal Assembly, the 'Holy' Church of Achaea, my family
and all those who I befriended? Respect. Respect for the teachings of
Suffering. Respect for the goal of Evil. Respect for those who guided me
down this path, many of whom are not Followers of Evil, but instead
hypocrites of Shallam. Suffering has played such a deep role in every
aspect of the world as we know it, especially my own part of the tale.
The suffering that has taken place in my life is deeply personal and few
know the details of my past... It is irrelevant now to all except myself
so I shall not elaborate.
With this, I disown my family. I shall no longer bear the name of
'Obuun' for its relationship with denying the knowledge of Suffering
sickens me.
Signed,
Diedrick
