My reasons, my intentions, my path

To those of evil,
For my entire life, over a century, I served the Lords of Mhaldor. Even
whilst my time in Shallam, and in the Church my intentions there were to
serve the Lords. Today I make those days as done, behind me. I'm sure
Mhaldor has branded me a traitor and tossed my name into the books of
the unworthy. For this I care not, my notoriety in evil is best left
forgotten. For the Dyzanru of Mhaldor is dead.
I am also certain that Mhaldor will continue to hunt me, and I accept
this challenge. I will not stray from this path which I have set myself
on. You will oppress me, you will cause great suffering on me, I do not
doubt this. For I will always be your enemy, that will never change.
However, I highly doubt you are able to inflict any more suffering on me
than my new conscience has seen fit to do so.
The once leader of evil's army, will now be its enemy for the rest of
time.
To those of the light,
My crimes against you stretch out over a century. I have killed, stolen,
betrayed, and lied to you for the entire course of my life. I once
called you brothers and friends to your faces and worshiped the Lords of
Mhaldor behind your backs. For this, I feel there is no forgiveness
grand enough. Humbly today I ask for it. I feel that I have no right to
ask for such forgiveness. Yet, here I am doing just that. I will of
course understand if these words here are taken as deception. You do not
have a reason to trust me, the only thing I can do is assure you that my
intentions are pure this time. For those who do not not forgive me I
understand, just remember that the remorse which I feel, will not change
if it is accepted or declined.
Signed,
Dyzanru
