It seems, sadly, that the Kharon are condemned to be weak. Else they wouldn't seek such blatantly easy ways to demonstrate power. Most infuriating is their shamelessness at sinking to such a low level as to deprive their cousins of life and liberty.

I urge you, Sentaari, to challenge the Kharon with the power of your spirit--that inner power is what the poor, pitiful Kharon fail to see. It is the spirit which is a gift of the gods, and not physical strength or brutality. . .I know that you, Sentaari, do cherish the godly gift of spirit, and I trust that you can appreciate the boundless superiority of its power. It would be truly sad for Achaea to lose a guild with such beauty and inner strength as yours.
