Three Upon Three & The Spirit Festival

"When Creation was still in the womb of darkness, before Sapience bore
the names of earth or sky, before Maya was called the Great Mother,
before the forming of the Pentad and Pantheon and the flourishing of
their Garden, the Logos, Creator of the worlds, was manifested by
Himself and He was inspired by Chaos and moved to generate the Nature of
all things and with them Spirits."
The Balance of Three noted in this ancient invocation is an integral
part of the walk between worlds undertaken by the Spirit Walkers. Until
recently, however, we were missing the final class that would see the
realization of this within our House's structure.
We have found that Druids are often known as the nurturers of Nature.
Their study and care of the whisper of winds, the rushing of water
downstream, the play of light through the trees upon the forest floor,
and the sounds of the beasts of Nature relates to the path of the Spirit
Walker in many ways. For it is Nature that gives life and sustains us
and because of this we must be dedicated to preserving, nurturing and
protecting it in Creation so that the delicate balance between it and
the Spirit Realm is not hindered.
Although different classes possess the ability to bond with the Spirits
of various animals, Metamorphosis exists as the result of intense
Druidic studies of Nature; the ancient Druids lived with the animals of
the world learning to think like the wary wolf, see like the wise owl,
feel the danger of the wildcat and the excitement of the squirrel.
Through ages of practicing this art an intimate connection between the
Spirit of these animals and Druids has been born. It is a marriage of
sorts between their physical presences, minds, and the animal Spirits
that is truly singular.
Mind, Body and Spirit are the three parts of everything. Our Bodies
exist in the physical world, our Minds offer it sentience so that is
more than a shell, and our Spirits give us our purpose in life. Today
the House of the Spirit Walkers is made whole in this way: Mind, Body
and Spirit.
This day the Spirit Walkers are proud to announce the acceptance of
Druids into our House. And in honour of the fulfillment of the decree of
"Three upon Three," we also declare the commencement of our year-long
Spirit Festival.
Penned by my hand on the 1st of Sarapin, in the year 455 AF.
