Maplestone and Sparrow's Rest

I would like to correct one particular flaw in your post, as I neither
have the time nor the patience to correct the whole of it as it needs.
The flaw to which I refer is your saving of the 'overharvested'
Sparrow's Rest.

I personally oversaw the planting of Sparrow's Rest, and I would like to
correct the notion that these plants were 'overharvested'. If you had
used lastharvest, you would have seen that the harvester was unknown,
and as such, was merely growing where it had been planted. You did not
'fix' an overharvest. You stuffed in a group of plants amongst some that
would quite happily have grown back themselves.

Elm and Lobelia are widely known to grow much slower than other plants.
Yes, I am quite prepared to believe that it took as long as you say for
them to grow at all. However what I am not prepared to accept is the
manner in which you are proud to have stuffed your nose in and
interfered with Nature where it is perfectly capable of taking care of
itself.

You claim to teach people to care for Nature? Perhaps you should first
teach yourselves. Nature is not some little child that you have to care
for. It is a strong, hardy, brutal force that will do very will without
you mollycoddling it into prosperity. I do not question your motives,
but I do state quite clearly that you and your clan have a great deal to
learn about Nature and about Oakstone.
