The "MapleStone"

To the MapleStone Clan:

Greetings!

I read your ad, and I read your clan summary. And I have to say that...

First of all, Oakstone does not charge endless fines in order to
maintain our totems. With or without fines, we would be able to maintain
them one way or another.

Second of all, help other harvesters? "Participate in the movement of
solidarity of the... concoctionists?" And serve Nature in doing so?

Harvesting or being a concoctionist is not the mark of one who is
devoted to serving, caring for or protecting Nature. In fact, many
concoctionists have done more to harm Nature than others with far more
dangerous skills. I think you should take a moment to think, long and
hard, about the differences in being a concoctionist and being devoted
to Nature.

Oakstone is not cruel. We give warnings. We are willing to sit down and
talk, and teach. We are HERE to do those things. We can be and are very
helpful when people actually seek us out to ask about harvesting or
anything else concerning Nature.

We have never, ever withheld the knowledge of overharvesting laws or
punishments. There are many people who try to teach, or who are willing
to teach, the same things that MapleStone offers to teach.

You know that saying about asking and receiving? Ask to learn about
harvesting, and you will learn. When you receive the ability to harvest,
just taking a look at the Ability scroll for harvesting warns you of
Oakstone Law. The information is -right there-, open to any and all who
care to take a look.

If people can't speak to members of Oakstone -or- read the scroll
containing Oakstone law -or- speak to forestal House members -or- speak
to forestal Class members, EVEN AFTER being warned... the only ones at
fault for those people not knowing Oakstone law, are the people
themselves. Not Oakstone.

Respectfully,
Druidess Kaiya Winterwind
