We of Cyrene would also like to thank the Majority of Eleusis in joining
Ashtan in what was, rather a close battle at the end. We hope you find
allying yourself with a city that has for some time enjoyed a
partnership formerly with a city that you abhored...not too painful.
Make sure that you also do not suffer the same fate of all those who
ally with Ashtan, subjugation.
I note also, that Mhaldor did stand against you this time too, although
I may not agree with many of their ideals, concepts, or basic practice.
I have to say, there was guts and honour in it. I do hope their gods do
decide that they have suffered enough to fight with such composure
against large odds.
Hashan, You did far better than I expected, you are most certainly
getting there.
And now, to Shallam, it is simply true, we would not have been able to
win without you, you fought like lions, with organisation, and you did
not give up hope when it looked like all might be lost at all, in fact,
you were spurred further on. Again, I have to admit I don't like some
practices of Shallam, but I can most certainly say there was not one
person on the field of battle today I wasn't humbled by. I at least
thank you, but I know every Cyrenian would agree.
cyrene, you have heard me talk about you enough, so I will instead thank
those who betted in book 15, and bid you all Adeiu.
We look forward to the next competition indeed.
