I pronounce myself entirely unsurprised by the rush of Cyrenians
defending the status quo. Why would you not? You receive all the benefit
and none of the cost. This arrangement is not humiliating to -your-
side, far from it. I stand by my sincere admiration for your political
maneouvering.

The silence from the East, however, speaks volumes.
