Greetings Everyone,
This post is mostly directed to those of the Guardians House. This post
was written about 3 months ago before Batista posted the previous post.
I mailed this letter to Sir Fonetic offering him a chance to post it to
the Guardians news board, as to keep it away from the public Eye.
However, he refused. So now everyone can read it. Of course, I'd prefer
if only those of the Guardian house would read any further. But, I'm
also sure just by saying that everyone will read the entire post.
Greetings Sir Fonetic,
Enclosed within this letter are my reasons for leaving the guardians, I
should have posted it before I left I understand that. However, I didn't
and I'm writing this to you giving you a chance to post it on guardians
for me. I am doing this because I have no urge to bring this matter
before the populace of Sapience. So a reply via message, tell, or letter
stating if you post it or not would be very appreciated.
Greetings Guardians,
I would like to start off this post by saying, the purpose of this
letter is not to offend any of you. I do not wish to cause unrest among
your ranks. This is simply a post to inform you why the guardians are
not for me.
I'll simply start from the very beginning.
I left loom island with the knowledge that Evil ran rampant through this
world. I wanted to be someone who could make a diffence, someone who
would stand up and defy the Armies of Evil. I believed that the right
house for me would be the Guardians of Light. I did join the guardians,
did my requirements, and got promoted to Defender rather quickly.
However, I also quickly learned that this house didn't exactly live by
the vaules which I thought they had.
An Example, the houseleader of the guardians bears the title Grand
Champion of the Innocent. This person was decided by the house, for
which he now represents. I do not mean to criticize Fonetic for the way
he's decided to live his life, and to fight evil. However, in the 6
years I was in the house I never saw him raise a sword to defend anyone.
When the city became sieged he conveniently disappeared. Think about
that title, Grand Champion of the Innocent. I couldn't help but think
those words have no meaning within the house. The only language that has
a chance of defeating evil is that of the blade, not that of the tongue.
If he wishes to stand by and run his shops, and socialize with his
friends while Mhaldor slays whoever they wish without a fight from what
is claimed to be the sword arm of the church. I personally do not want a
part of it.
I wish to live my life differently. I will meet Evil on the battle
field, I will defend those who need it. I will die doing so. Will I ever
defeat evil? Probably not, but I will die knowing I tried. I'll die
knowing that I did not stand idle against the injustices in this world.
I will die knowing that I did everything in my power to end the
suffering and oppression.
Again, I hold no ill will towards anyone in the house. I understand
their reasons for living the way they do. I am happy that they live life
for the pleasures of it. If I had the means to protect everyone from the
horrors of this world, I would go to whatever means necessary to do so.
Guardians, I with you happiness. I wish you life. Live a life filled
with all the joys it has to offer for me. Let me know that my life will
not be in vain.
