Dear citizens of Shallam,

I am writing this posting to apologize to all of you, and Markuth, in
particular. Most of us know what has happened regarding Eleasia in the
past year. She was a close friend of mine long before any of this
happened. But the fact is, I insulted Markuth after he had slain her,
and I should not have. She is a city enemy and I should not have gotten
between them in this, no matter how I felt about it. I am a Guardian and
that is not how we ought to conduct ourselves. It will not happen again,
you all have my word.
