Warrior's Thought of the Day

Any soldier, given a sufficently long career, will perform an act that
he will spend the rest of his life regretting. This will happen,
premeditated or not.

The life of a soldier is hard. As a doctor must learn to live knowing
patients under his care have died, a soldier must live with decisions
made with insufficient haste, or out of uncontrolled anger. Lucky is a
soldier who's career ends before he has made such a mistake.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Phaestian, in the year 445 AF.
