My response.

Dyzanru,

As my dearest companion, and brother in my House, Caelan, has clearly,
and rightfully, stated, the Dawnstriders have no intention of being
bullied around by you and your House. I would suggest, from one leader
to another, that you focus your efforts on teaching your members basic
anti-theft, instead of allowing them to grow lax if the situation you
have found yourself in angers you as much as you say.

I must admit that if I were you I would be rather embarrassed to bring
such a demand to these boards, for in doing so, you show the entire
Sapience that a few thieves from a House with a membership that is
hardly fully Serpent anymore, and does not pride itself as theft being
its strongest suit, have managed to find weakness within your ranks.

I know your pain though, Dyzanru, and can sympathize. My House and
Citymates are often the target of theft for your fellow Mhaldorians.
However, when they are stolen from, we tell them to live and learn, and
to work on their reflexes with our help and guidance if necessary. We do
not coddle them as you are attempting to do to your House.

Allow the entire Sapience to bear witness to how the smallest House of
Shallam has brought the Blood Congregation to the level of coddling
their willing weak. Know that should you follow through with whatever
'wrath' you may have, that every action you may take is in protection of
those who could fully protect themselves if they put forth minimum
effort. It is out of your own inability to encourage your House to keep
their pockets protected, that you find yourself in this situation. So I
recommend that you point your finger back toward the west.

Be that as it may, let it be now known that the only targets of the
Dawnstriders are those that prove whether by deeds in becoming enemied
to the City of Shallam, or by citizenship in the City of Mhaldor, that
they would use their resources to strike down the Innocent and/or try to
smother out the side of Light. The Dawnstriders that steal, steal so
that when a City enemy or Mhaldorian reaches for their weapon to strike
down the Innocent or the forces of Good, that they do not find it. They
steal so that items that are stolen are recovered. They steal so that
Mhaldor, and your House, Messiah of the Damned, know that the
Dawnstriders, followers of Good, do not fear Evil.

Signed,
The Lady of the Morning,
