A Long Overdue Apology

Written by: Ankara

Greetings. I direct this post to the noble Occultist House residing
within the walls of Ashtan and all of it's members therein, but
especially to the dedicated Archon, Occultist and Demiurge, Amunet
Stryganis.
For the past 20 years, you and I have found ourselves at idealogical, or
at least political odds. I recently was given information that showed me
the true fallacy of my accusations and just how much of a prick I was to
your house, but especially to you. Therefore, I offer you my apologies
and hope you can accept them in the spirit in which they were given;
with total sincerity.

I am sorry for ever having accused you of being willing, in any way,
shape or form, to compromise the security of the Bastion of the North.

I am sorry for having stated that you and your house did nothing to help
Ashtan during the bloody reign of the dreaded Nychtaur.

I am sorry for having so foolishly scorned those of your house and class
purely based on their affiliation with chaos and darkness.

These are only a few examples of a long, long list of grievances which I
feel I have inflicted upon you and your house. The Occultist House does
not deserve that, and nor do you. You are an outstanding leader not only
in the Occultist House but in the City of Ashtan as well. In my youthful
aggressive nature I wrongfully targetted you for many insults and
criticisms which you did nothing to deserve. Finally, and probably the
most important, I am truly, truly sorry for EVER having doubted your
commitment to Ashtan and it's place as the dominant power in Sapience. I
was terribly, terribly wrong.

I do not expect forgiveness, nor do I expect a reply of any sort. But
this needs to be said, and needs to be heard as well. I am sorry, Amunet
Stryganis. May I and all those who ever carry the name Harkonnen look
upon you with nothing less than total respect and admiration. To this, I
give you the honor of my family.

Ankara De'Unnero Harkonnen

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Miraman, in the year 445 AF.
