Shallam and Mhaldor, Sisters in Weakness

I did find an illegal totem that was not smudged outside Shallam. It is
a relatively new one, as I checked a few months ago and that area was
clean. There are also two smudged totems, but those are not a concern
for now.

I found that the Shallamese are equally attached to their illegal totems
(or, if you prefer, non-defendable totems) as their dark brethren in
Mhaldor.

Perhaps we should scrap any pretense of Law and Order and senselessly
murder one another with no goal or end, and Evil should scrap its first
truth, which seeks to further intelligent life. It seems to have
dispensed with that already, however. As for the Shallamese, I hold out
some hope for them that I cannot for Mhaldor any longer, given the
disgusting events of this month.
